In short: the quickest way to find local food in Saskatchewan is to search by what you want to buy, then look at what’s near you. Farm to Fork SK puts farms, food producers and farmers markets across the province on one map. Search for a product like beef, eggs or honey, tap “Near me”, and contact the farm directly to buy.

Here’s how to get the most out of it.

Search by what you want

Start with the food, not the farm. Type a product into the search on the map or the producer list, or pick one under “Product”.

Every product also has its own page listing every farm that sells it, like Local beef in Saskatchewan or Local eggs in Saskatchewan. Browse all products to see what’s available.

You can also filter by how you want to buy: pickup at the farm, delivery, at farmers markets, and more. That way you only see farms that sell the way that works for you.

Find what’s near you

Tap Near me on the map to see the farms closest to you, or search for your town. Listings show the town each farm is near. For the exact pickup spot, contact the farm.

Buying close to home means fresher food, shorter drives for pickup, and a farm you can go back to.

Farms and farmers markets on one map

The map shows farmers markets next to the farms around them. Use Show to choose between producers and markets, both, or farmers markets only.

Each market page has its hours, location and the farms that sell there. If you like a farm’s food at the market, you can find its listing and buy from it between market days too.

What “Verified” means

Some listings are added by the farm itself. Others we’ve added from information the farm already shares publicly, like its website or Facebook page.

  • Verified: the farm runs this listing and keeps it up to date.
  • Listed from public info: we put it together from public information. The details may be out of date, so check with the farm before you drive out.

Buying direct from the farm

When you find a farm you like, contact it the way the listing says: phone, email, website or social media. Many farms take orders ahead, especially for meat, and some have a minimum order or set pickup days. Ask how they raise or grow their food. Farms that sell direct are usually happy to tell you.

Facebook groups and word of mouth

Local buy-and-sell groups and asking friends still turn up great farms, especially for one-off sales. If you find a farm that way that isn’t on the map yet, tell us about it and we’ll look into adding it.

Can’t find what you’re looking for?

If nobody near you sells what you want yet, tell us what you’re looking for. We use those requests to find farms to add.
